Una notte indimenticabile ed emozionante per il tributo a Michael Jackson, per un’iniziativa benefica in favore di Haiti, ma anche per duetti impossibili, tra cui quello con Lady Gaga ed Elton John. per Beyoncé. La diva soul che partiva con ben dieci nominations si è aggiudicata ben sei delle ambite statuette a forma di grammofono. E’ la prima volta che una donna arriva a questo traguardo in una sola notte. Il premi che Beyoncé ha vinto: Miglior Canzone dell’anno con “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”, Miglior canzone R&B e Miglior interpretazione vocale pop femminile per “Halo”, Miglior interpretazione R&B tradizionale per “At Last” e Miglior album contemporaneo R&B per “I am… Sasha Fierce”.
Nonostante il suo trionfo però Beyoncé non è riuscita a conquistare il premio più importante degli ‘Oscar della Musica’, ovvero quello per il Miglior Album dell’Anno, che è stato assegnato alla cantante country Taylor Swift (in foto a sinistra) con il suo disco “Fearless“.
